Initial Consultation
You’ll meet with a trusted designer to discuss your goals, budget, and lifestyle.
Design
Based on our discussions, we’ll create designs for your dream home and provide concepts for your approval.
Planning and Permits
Once you’re happy with the designs, they’ll be submitted to the council for all relevant approvals.
Customisation
There are still a lot of choices to be made for your home, from tiles and flooring to kitchen cabinets and tapware.
Quote
Your project can be quoted either as a fixed price or charges – the choice is yours, we’re completely transparent.
Construction
Let the fun begin! We’ll liaise with all trades and keep you updated on the progress of your project.
Handover
You’ll perform a final inspection of your new home. Once you’re satisfied, it’s ready for you to move in!
FAQs
How long does the new build process take?
This completely depends on the project, but you can generally expect the process to take around nine months from start to finish. The actual construction usually takes around four months, but it can take up to six months or even longer for your plans to be approved by the council.
How much does a new build cost?
We work exclusively with custom builds, which means that the cost will depend on a number of factors (including your location, the size of the house, the materials chosen, and so on). The best way to get an idea of cost is to contact us for a comprehensive quote.
What warranties and insurances are provided on my new build?
A five-year warranty is provided on all new homes that we build, while defective building work is covered for ten years in South Australia. We are also required to take out building indemnity insurance; a copy of this certificate will be provided to both you and the council for record keeping.
